| 14ers | David and I left Golden, CO around 04:45. We Took I-70 out to Breckenridge and up a jeep road on the east side of Bross. We were biking by 7am, and were on Lincoln by 11am. All of the rocks off the jeep road are very difficult riding. Some of the trail must be walked, but most just takes some good balance and strong legs. I went up the north end of Cameron, and biked (or rather slid in a controlled fashion) down most of the south side back to the trail. You see my picture on Bross with my bike behind me instead of on top of me. Beware of wind gusts! After spending about an hour total of dicking around above 14k we rode down to tree line within 25 min. At the bottom V-Breaks are hot and your hands can barely open. If you have arthritis, don t worry: its worth the ride! |
| ... | - These mountains are all above 14,000 feet. They are part of the Tenmile-Mosquito mountains. - Lincoln is 14,286'. Bross is 14,172'. Cameron is 14,238'. |

legos
I love legos! should i change the appearance though? I kind of like the tooltip (text pop up 'thingy'), but some do not. It is an effort to keep everything well aligned. Also, what about the links to pics? some link to bigger pics and others do not...-E
